Kathmandu Connection Review SonLiv: Irrational Climax Spoils Everything

Kathmandu SonLiv: To be honest I’m more excited for the Maharani web series on SonyLiv, even though the Kathmandu Connection has some amazing actors, there is always a fear in mind that it might be predictable and the same is happening with the series, I just finished the series and here I am will check it out.

This web series stars Amit Sial and Aksha Pardasany in the lead roles, along with Anshumaan Pushkar and Gopal Datt in the notable roles, the series is directed by Sachin Pathak, the series has a total of 6 episodes and all episodes are about 30-40 minutes long, You have to give at least 3 hours for the circuit if you want to complete it. Let’s talk about the shows and highlights of the series.

The story starts with a flashback of 1990s where a police cop meets two terrorists, he gets a medal and a promotion for it, and 3 years after that he gets a case of Murder of a government official, Murder of a businessman and someone on the phone. stalking famous city journalists. When the police started investigating the case, they found out about the Kathmandu relationship, because the last call to the three victims was from the Casino in Kathmandu, A team goes to Kathmandu and solves the case with a surprising but irrational climax, which is all behind. this? and what is the motive of the killer, to find out this you have to watch the full series on SonyLiv.

For me acting is the only plus point of the series, Amit Sial looks stunning, he kills him as a cop, he looks brilliant as a cop and at the same time, he looks emotionally perfect as a husband and father. about the divorce from his wife in the coming days. I have never seen Aksha Pardasany before, I saw her for the first time and she looks amazing in herself, her expression with her eyes, her body language and her lines convey everything is amazing, she is the second biggest highlight of the series, The rest of the actors are also amazing in their roles, and the series is a complete gem when it comes to acting.

The biggest problem with this series is expectation, I started watching late after hearing some good reviews, but for me, it was disappointing, how can sony liv be able to agree to such a climax, the climax is absurd and makes no sense at all, this series is predictable after 4th episode and from there it loses its charm. The first 4 episodes were good and until the third episode of the series went brilliantly, in the last few episodes it felt like I was watching some Zee5 or Mx Player series.

The same was put out with Screenplay and Editing, the series went great for 3-4 episodes, and then it went down and down and then ended in disappointment, the location was amazing, the background music was good and the VFX was average.

I went with 2 out of 5 for this series, even though the climax was really bad, execution was done really badly and I don’t recommend you to watch this you can check the series if you have no choice left except Main Hero Bol Raha Hoon, :-p You can check the web series on SonyLiv, the series does not have skin appearance but there is strong language usage.
